🌿 Come Alive to Tradition at Peeli Kothi

The newly opened store in DLF Avenue 1st Floor Saket District Centre, Peeli Kothi by Ambica is more than a boutique—it’s a heartfelt tribute to India’s timeless weaving traditions.

From Banarasi silk to Kalamkari, each creation here is a story of heritage, love, and labour. If you’ve ever wanted to wear tradition with a touch of elegance, this boutique is your go-to.

    ✨ About Peeli Kothi

Started in 2018 by Ambica Chaudhry, Peeli Kothi was born out of a passion for Indian fabrics and an urge to support the talented artisans of rural India. What began as a side project soon grew into a full-fledged label that celebrates handloom craftsmanship across the country.

“Peeli Kothi is an ode to Indian textile heritage—handwoven, heartfelt, and handcrafted.”

    👗 The Collection

Step into the boutique and you’re welcomed by a riot of colours and textures. Every weave here tells a tale:

    Sarees & Fabrics:

    • Banarasi Silk
    • Bandhani / Bandhej
    • Bhagalpuri
    • Chanderi
    • Dhakai
    • Kalamkari
    • Kantha
    • Patola
    • Tant (Cotton from Bengal)
    • Linen with Banarasi Brocade

    Ethnic Wear:

    • Handcrafted suits, dupattas, shawls
    • Elegant stoles, mufflers, clutches, and potlis

💡 Our top pick? A multicoloured linen sari with Banarasi detailing — it’s a showstopper at ₹12,000.

🌸 Meet the Founder – Ambica Chaudhry

Ambica’s journey started in education. But her love for sarees, travel, and handlooms pushed her to follow her heart.

Raised in Agra, her work is inspired by the confluence of Indian traditions, temple visits, and vibrant textiles from every corner of the country. Her collections are known for:

    • Spiritual motifs
    • Maheshwari designs
    • Banarasi brocade
    • Contemporary flair with traditional soul

    🧵 Craftsmanship Rooted in Culture

Behind every drape is a weaver’s legacy. At Peeli Kothi, it’s not just about fashion—it’s about preserving India’s handloom heritage.

    • Each piece takes hours—even days—to complete.
    • The process is labour-intensive and full of emotion.
    • The result? A wearable piece of art.

    💛 Empowering Women, Uplifting Communities

Peeli Kothi is committed to the artisans who bring these designs to life.

    • 5% of profits go towards empowering women artisans and SHGs in remote villages.
    • Regular training programs for rural weavers.
    • A strong support system for craftswomen across India.

“Women across the value chain are the best allies.” — Ambica
